ABOUT THE EVENT:

The It Factor Productions’ Founder/CEO Alycia Kaback produces the VIP Talent Connect Networking Events to connect upcoming talent (models, actors, musicians and dancers) to established leaders in the entertainment industry through the power of networking.

This day-long networking event on Saturday, August 9, 2014 will take place at the Scholastic Event Services in New York, N.Y. It will include discussion panels and workshops, and most importantly, networking opportunities, which will include one-on-one mentoring and demo-listening sessions (for musicians) with the entertainment industry’s top talent, Broadway producers, casting directors and label executives. Top entertainment industry professionals will be attending as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts. Their mission is to network and share their experiences with up-and-coming talent attending the event.

At the Saturday, August 9 networking event in NYC, there will be over 35 of the most influential and biggest names in the entertainment industry. A few speakers and panelists include Tony Award-winning producer Pat Addiss, co-founder of Bad Boy Entertainment Deric “D-Dot” Angelettie, stand up comedian and radio personality Geno Bisconte, and many more of the top decision makers in the entertainment industry.

 

HIGHLIGHTED LIST OF SPEAKERS:

Santino Fontana

Santino Fontana recently provided the voice of Prince Hans in Walt Disney's Frozen, which ranks as the highest-grossing animated film of all time and the highest-grossing film of 2013.

Fontana’s Broadway debut was Sunday in the Park with George in 2007. Fontana originated the role of Tony in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot. He was awarded the 2010 Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his work in Brighton Beach Memoirs. He starred as Prince Topher in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella on Broadway, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical.

Pat Addiss

Pat Addiss is one of the most prominent, Tony Award-winning female producers in theater. She is responsible for the number-one longest running musical The Fantasticks, which has played in theaters worldwide.

Addiss has produced many other notable Broadway musicals such as Promises Promises, Little Women, Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, Bridge and Tunnel, Spring Awakening, 39 Steps, and Passing Strange. She has also had some very notable offBroadway projects, including Shout and A Christmas Story.

Patrick Quagliano

Patrick Quagliano is among the premier acting technique teachers in the world today. Actors familiar with Adler’s work, as well as professionals in the industry, acknowledge that Patrick understands and teaches the Adler method more clearly and precisely than any teacher practicing in New York.

Patrick also has a longstanding relationship with The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He is currently the Academy’s US representative, and is a founding member of The London Theatre Exchange.

Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie

Deric Michael Angelettie, known as D-Dot, co-founded Bad Boy Entertainment with Diddy. D-Dot produced and wrote multi-platinum songs for legendary artists such as Notorious B.I.G., Diddy, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, 50 Cent among many others.

He is an American music producer, songwriter, artist, manager, entertainment executive and entrepreneur.. He is a three-time Grammy Nominee and NARAS Award winner for Producer of The Year in 1998. D-Dot has sold over 30 million records as a producer, songwriter and artist.

Robert Russell

Robert Russell is the former Vice President of Warner Brothers Casting, and has worked with virtually every major network, casting everything from feature to test shows, countless pilots and even reality shows.  He is one of the most respected casting director/producers in the entertainment business from coast to coast.

Robert is responsible for auditioning and casting Jay Overbye for ABC'S The Bachelor and Zora Andritch for FOX's hit Joe Millionaire and has been the remote casting director/producer for 7 of the 10 NYC open calls for the CBS hit show Big Brother, as well the NYC casting for Mega Game Shows like FOX's The Moment of Truth.

Kobie Brown

Director of Licensing & Business Affairs Administration at Sony/BMG. Brown works with Usher, Jamie Fox, Christina Aguilera, Mario, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and more.

Before working for Sony/BMW, Brown was a writer/producer working with artists such as Lauren Hill, Ideal and Divine Mills. He also worked at a talent agency booking tours for artist such as Anthony Hamilton and Rafael Sadiq.

Linda Haberman

Linda Haberman has been the director and choregrapher of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular since 2007. Since the first version was presented in 1933, the show has become a New York Christmas tradition seen by more than a million visitors a year.

Haberman is not only the Director and Choreographer of the Christmas Spectacular at the famed Radio City Music Hall in New York, but also the productions outside New York. In 2011, the legendary Radio City Christmas Spectacular theater tour will be showcased in the following three cities outside of New York: Nashville, Boston and Durham.

Randy Jones

Randy Jones an actor, author, American Music Award winner and multi-platinum recording artist, best known as the cowboy from Village People. In his career spanning four decades before, with and since Village People, he has sold 100 million units.

Jones has earned 65 Gold and Platinum record certificates, toured worldwide, made the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, and in 2008, garnered a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Teri Bostaji

Teri Bostaji is the Director  at Wilhelmina Kids and Teens Talent Management.

Wilhelmina Kids and Teens is the leading agency for kids and teens in New York City and a full-service modeling and talent management company. Clients can be seen in all of the major campaigns for fashion and commercial-print modeling.

David Doan

David Doan is agent at Generation TV, where he works handling kids, teens, and young adults for TV, film, and theatre. Some of his clients have been in commercials for Apple, Mastercard, Estee Lauder, Target, Macy’s, McDonald’s, JC Penney, Burger King and in film and TV such as  The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Gossip Girl, and Boardwalk Empire.

Doan got his start working with kids in Talent Management at J. Mitchell Management. He moved on to Nickelodeon in the Casting Department working with kids and teens.

Scott Schwartz

Scott Schwartz is a former child actor best known for his roles in The Toy and A Christmas Story, a holiday classic and is shown numerous times on television during the Christmas season.

Schwartz is a part of non-profit A Minor Consideration, a foundation formed to give guidance and support to young performers, past, present and future.

Cory Wade

Cory Wade Hindorff was the third place reality show contestant on America's Next Top Model (ANTM), during the Fall 2013 season. He is a singer, actor, model, and spokesperson in the LGBT community.

Wade has also appeared in Showtime’s Power, which is produced by hip-hop artist and investor 50 Cent. Wade is one of the most requested mentors at The It Factor Productions/Colby KMM.

Alycia Kaback

Alycia Kaback is the Founder and CEO of The It Factor Productions, Colby KMM and VIP Talent Connect. For the past seven years, she has connected aspiring talent to entertainment industry leaders.

Kaback is part of three hit Broadway shows, that combined, have won six Tonys, including the 2013 Best Play Vonya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. She is currently writing a book called Finding Fame: The Insider’s Guide to the Entertainment Industry, is the executive producer of pro wrestling documentary Behind the Ropes, and is developing an anti-bullying campaign that primarily focuses on cyber bullying.

Ryan Colby

Ryan Colby is the CEO of Colby Models, the high fashion division of Colby KMM , and has been a model for twenty five years. Some of the companies that he has modeled for are Lexus, The Face, and Issey Miyake.

Ryan has also been an art director, and has created images for magazines such as, Surface, Brasil  Vogue, Spanish  Vogue, Greek  Vogue, German Vogue, and Interview. Ryan Colby manages lucrative clients here as well as abroad, and works with worldwide placement opportunities.

Roxanne Messina Captor

Roxanne Messina Captor is a Hollywood director, choreographer, producer and writer. She will be accepting audtions for films that she is currently working on.

Francis Ford Coppola chose Messina Captor to assist Gene Kelly with the choreography of One from the Heart. She was also the assistant choreographer on The Cotton Club, and danced in the films The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Xanadu, and Pennies From Heaven.
